Center Sanctuary

Center Sanctuary explores navigating back to center. Establishing a balance between my work as an artist and teacher is constant. The original map background was used 13 years ago. I  mapped out school locations and searched for teaching opportunities. The colors are symbolic, representing the most elemental parts of me as a teaching artist. Family, teaching and learning, and experiences are three strong directions that guide my work. They are all two way streets, my work informs my teaching and my teaching informs my work.
